About Me

Hi! Ever wondered how on Earth you have ended up where you are, physically or just in life? Me too! This blog is all about my adventures – stories about cool experiences, trips, people, and places from past and present. If you love adventure travel, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, or maybe some self-discovery, this is the place for you.

This blog starts shortly after I accepted a job with the British Antarctic Survey (BAS). In late 2026 I travel South for ~18 months in Antarctica working as an Electronics Engineer. I hope to use this blog to share my personal preparation, official training, and of course stories from the frozen continent. Some posts will also be about my past experiences that I’d love to share with the world, alongside maybe some future aspirations.

If you want to keep up to date with my posts, with maybe the odd photo of my cat Artemis (Arty), then please subscribe to get any new blog posts straight to your email inbox, so you don’t miss anything!

PS: All content shared on this website are mine alone and do not represent the views or opinions of the British Antarctic Survey, or any other organisation or group mentioned within.
